KBA-Metronic AG is targeting specific industries with its in-line alphaJETc continuous ink jet system. AlphaJetC can lay down up to six lines of text can be specified in single, twin or four-head versions, and is aimed particularly at the food, dairy, tubing, hose, pharmaceutical and electronics vertical markets.

The alphaJET C is a freely programmable inkJET printing system for the industry working on the continuous inkJET principle. The system allows for  wide range of applications. It is not only suitable for accomplishing rather simple tasks, e.g. printing of dates, but also for very complex applications. The alphaJET C can be integrated into a network of PC, barcode reader, image analysis control and xy-axes systems.  Depending on the  model, the alphaJET C can either be integrated with one single production line, or print completely different data simultaneously at each of two separate production lines.  The alphaJET C uses fast drying inks which guarantee optimum adhesion. The recently optimized print head enables integration at any position of the production line. Even on uneven and structured surfaces, the print image of 1 - 6 lines is of consistently high
quality.
