CYBERGEAR Offers Multiple Product Recall Solutions

July 28, 2016
GRAND RAPIDS, MI - Cybergear has launched its newest line of direct part marking (DPM) equipment, a new line of fiber laser markers by Amada Miyachi.  This new product line “The LMF Series” has the widest and most complete power range in the industry from 10 to 100 Watts.  This new line of fiber laser markers also comes with a new line of laser light safe enclosures.  This new line of laser part marking equipment will allow automotive OEMs and their machine builders to directly mark automobile parts with 2D and human readable lot and serial number codes which will help limit the scope of product recalls.

Cybergear also announced an upcoming release of its new UHF RFID smart tags.  These smart tag labels are approximately .5” x 1.2” and can be applied directly parts providing up to 15” of sensing distance.  Other models can provide up to 5’ of non-line-of-site sensing distance which is important in many automotive applications.

In a recent interview with Chris Mills, Sr. Account Manager, Chris explained that now automotive OEMs have a greater choice for part marking and tracking technologies to aid in the quest to reduce the depth and breadth of product recalls.  By combining marking and tracking products with Cybergear’s software products Cybergear is able to provide complete solutions to automotive OEM manufacturers.
